Brett and I did some t-shirts this weekend: designed and screen printed. They look something like this:

We'll be working on more soon, and we'll be opening the site soon as well so that we can start selling them online.

:D

About time for another update. I've hardly been online in the past month or so. At first it was I lost my internet* and couldn't get on for about 3 weeks, and now it's just because I don't have any time.

School has begun again, and so far it seems okay. Mondays are going to be long...from 8-6. But that's okay. My professors seems alright, though some of the subjects are rather boring.

SOCI 100: Robert Gramling. Intro to Socioology. This man looks like a younger Santa Claus and speaks pretty quietly/mumbly, even with a mic on (it's an auditorium class and it's hard to hear!) but he doesn't seem so bad. I've begun reading the first few chapters of the book and it looks ridiculous. I took Sociology before (when I dropped out) and liked it, but the stuff we are going to be doing this time doesn't look very fun.

VIAR 121: Jessica Locheed. Um yeah. Art History. Cave paintings and the like. Not interesting at all. Maybe when we move on to a period where the people were more civilized I will be interested.

VIAR 111: Troy Dugas. Drawing I. This man seems very awesome. He is upbeat and friendly and talkative. We are only supposed to call him Troy, which is always nice--it takes away the formal atmosphere of school. I guess the benches in there do a good job of doing that, also. It's like everyone is just sitting around in a happy circle like in kindergarten. :P But yeah, I am looking forward to this class, and I am kind of sad that it's only on Mondays and Wednesdays.

HUMR 104 and 105. Gail DeHart. Textiles. Textiles...I don't know just how boring it will be, but I really don't mind learning about it. I had the same professor for a different class last semester and made an A, so I kind of know what to expect from her. 105 is the lab, which is kind of weird. Apparently we will be studying different fabrics and seeing how well they perform in different situations. Eh. Can't be too hard, right?

MATH 105. Frank Hammers. Algebra. Relatively easy subject, but the teacher goes too fast! I'll be writing down what he's doing on the board and by the time I'm done with one problem, he'll be halfway through the next one so I can't concentrate on one or the other. This isn't so bad now, because it's all review, but what happens when we're doing new and more difficult things? :( Originally on my schedule it said I had Jin Huang as my prof. I was not looking forward to that, since everyone on ratemyprofessor.com seems to hate him. Hammers doesn't have ANY ratings on there, so I dunno. I'm sure he's better than an Asian man I wouldn't be able to understand at all.

My mohawk obsession is now entering my dreams. I swear, there were multiple mohawked boys in my dreams last night, and one of them was my old friend Matt. I do miss Matt--I'm going to have to visit him at work one of these days, provided he still works in the same place. <3

Anyway.

Last night after seeing Urinetown (great musical, btw!), Chris and I went to the Loose Caboose, where I saw many people I hadn't seen in a while. Molly, Jade, TJ, James (who I wished I hadn't seen), Jason, and Jillian are among them. I hadn't seen TJ in about 5 or 6 years, and I didn't even recognize him at first. After I said hey, he proceeded to stare at me until he left. Creepy. I'm glad I got out of that circle of friends when I did, though, otherwise I might have ended up like James' brother Daniel (aka my sister's ex), who is now fried beyond belief. Seriously, Daniel is one fucked up kid. A couple of months ago he started trying to talk to April again...he'd come to work looking for her, and when she wasn't there he'd proceed to announce his undying love for her--to me. I was like, "yeah. She's totally seeing someone..." but he wouldn't give up. I don't know what he's doing now.

I've been taking German lessons online. Semester after next I do intend to take German at UL. That is, if I can get back in. I currently owe some $400 that my student loan didn't pay for because I'm supposed to have some ridiculous amount of "family contribution." WTF. My dad is the only person in this house who works, as far as head of household is concerned. And there are 5 people living here-- two of whom are college students! How in the hell is he supposed to pay for my college? Not to mention, I only get like 30 hours a week and I can barely pay all of my bills as it is. Am I supposed to contribute to my tuition? I have no fucking money! I have no idea how I'm going to pay for it before next semester begins. Ugh.

Sooo.

I've been designing a lot more as of late. It seems my new favorite color to use (as of today) is military/olive green. I have these color phases that I go through a lot. Pink is a recurring color, as well as red, but other ones come and go. I've got these olive green pants someone gave me a while back, and I'm working on making them into an awesome skirt, but I can't find my scissors!! I had all the seams ripped out and everything was going great until I realized that my scissors were missing. I have like 50 pairs (okay, like 6) but only 3 of them work well, and all of them are gone! So I guess that project will be delayed until further notice.
I also have this wierd thing I found by our trash (Jeri cleaned out the shed), which looks something like this--so I'm assuming that it's a gun holster. It snaps closed, though, and is a little wider. I'd ask my dad (who it once belonged to), but he's in Phoenix until Friday. At any rate, I plan to turn it into a hipslinger/hip bag (hip the noun, not the adjective). I just need a matching strap for it. So I'm going to see if my dad has any of his other military stuff that I can tear apart XD

Also, as soon as I have the freaking money, I WILL buy these (olive theme again, though bordering khaki) or these.

And. I am SO in love with these damned boots:

wtf is wrong with me? Seriously.

I'd consider buying them a) If £81 didn't equate to roughly $1,000,000 and b) If I knew that they were faux fur as well as imitation suede. I don't particularly like wearing an animal's skin on me just because I like how it looks.

On a related note, a couple of weeks ago I started my vegetarian diet again. If I can accumulate the willpower, veganism will follow. I hate to say it, but I love my cheese and ice cream. :( So, if anyone knows any really yummy vegan/vegetarian recipes, let me know. I've been making lots of new things lately. :9

Lately, my dad and I haven't really talked much. We have such opposing schedules, we hardly even see each other unless it's 2 a.m. when he's just waking up and I'm just going to bed. Anyway, he still knows me so well. Last night he was talking to me about my major being Apparel Design and he says, "Ya know what you could do, that I think you'd like? Costume design, like for movies and stuff." which is exactly something I'd like to do, thus the reason I'm taking theatre classes as well (not to act--but for costume design and stage makeup purposes)...but he didn't know that that was why I was taking theatre. Sooo yeah. I'm not entirely sure where this major (and minor, being theatre) is going to bring me, but I really can't wait to get my real life started.
April, on the other hand, has no clue whatsoever. She's in the same position I was 2 and a half years ago when I quit school...she has so many ideas and she doesn't know what she wants to do. She's getting all down about it, and thinking about just going into the Navy for a while. She's so smart and I know that almost anything she wants to do, she could, because she HAS that kind of drive that I didn't have. I just don't want her to end up like me. Everyone I went to highschool with is now a junior in college, and don't have too much longer. I still have 4 years or so ahead of me.

Anyway....on a slightly lighter note..I beat Trace Memory last night. (SPOILERS right here, so don't read if you plan on playing it!!) I could NOT sleep, so I just stayed up and played for a few hours, leaving me with two hours of sleep. I'm still not tired, though. Anyway, the game...it was really fucking short, that's definitely true, but I loved the way they used the DS's touch screen to make unique puzzles. Seriously, I was floored when I had to BLOW ON THE SYSTEM to solve a puzzle. I was thinking, "if I were really there, I would blow on it! I wonder...." so I did it (feeling like an idiot for doing so--I wasn't expecting it to actually WORK) and it did. The expression on my face when it did work must have been priceless. I plan on playing it through again to see the alternate ending (I'm guessing it will end up like I thought it was going to the first time around, but I hope not :/ )

Had a Biology test today. Made a 74. Eh. I knew this test would bring my grade down. That just means I'll have to show up every day to make sure I don't miss a stupid bonus point pop quiz.

So. Today I looked at all of my grades to see how I'm doing and this is what I have:

English: A (I got an A on that fucking report I spent forever doing too! Hell yesssss)
Fashion Marketing: A (I love this class)
Human Resources Orientation: A (easiest class ever)
Theatre: A (My essays kicked ass!)
Biology: B (Seriously. That class fucking sucks. I'm surprised I have that. Thank God for extra point quizzes)

So yay! 4 A's and a B. I am so fucking happy. I have a test on Monday in Biology, though, so I'm pretty sure that grade might fall a bit. Eh. That just means that Andre and I have to get some studying done Sunday night, which we didn't do for the last one.

I have to start scheduling my classes for next semester. This means taking a math. Ugh. But I can do it. If I can have a B in Biology, I think I can handle math 105.

Another good thing: it's getting cool outside! I love it, so much.

Just a quick update before the hurricane knocks my power out. The power on the other side of town is out as I type this, so I reckon ours will go sometime tonight as well. I hope everything in Texas goes okay. It's not supposed to hit Lafayette hard, but the wind is already really bad and it's hardly begun. I've been taking lots of awesome rain pictures with my colorsplash.

Hopefully I don't have to work tomorrow. I need to work on my project for school--I've been procrastinating hardcore.

Anyway, I guess I'll write sometime after the storm is over.

edit: I just used the word "reckon" wth.

I LOVE FRUITI SMOOTHIE! It's this Asian smoothie place that sells some 39 flavors, including a couple of boba teas <3. I'd had boba tea before (only the Green Tea kind) and now I have a couple more flavors to choose from as far as tea goes AND like 30-something smoothie flavors, which you can put the tapioca "bubbles" in as well. Right now I'm drinking Taro. I like the Engrish on the top. "Warning: Tapioca ball must chew before swallow. Children under 5 not suggest to eat"
I think I'm going to start going there before school, that way I don't have to eat breakfast (these things are really filling).
I am so happy.

Not much going on as of late. School is going well. I have a few exams this week which, except for Biology, I am pretty confident about.
I'm supposed to do this paper for English, due in a few weeks, about individulity and community. Then the other day she decided that we don't have to write a paper. We can write a poem or story, make a movie, make a collage, paint a painting, etc. She's basically giving us free creative control over this thing, which is odd because English 102 is supposed to be a WRITING class, specifically. But I'm certainly not complaining. I've been wanting to paint a stencil on canvas, so maybe I'll do that. Not sure how I will incorporate "individuality and community" yet though.

My left eye is all blurry. Last night something (a grain of salt, I think. Damn you french fries!) got in it and I could NOT get it out. It didn't come out until a little earlier today. Anyway, this TINY grain of whatever ended up cutting my eyeball. There is an ugly red spot on it now, which may be there forever :( And now it's all blurry, which I hope goes away.

Maybe I should invest in an eyepatch.

I have homework I should be doing.
The hurricane is over. I was expecting some excitement over here, but nothing really happened other than wind. We were all prepared for a hurricane party, too. Of course, I suppose it's a good thing the hurricane didn't get us too much because had it been a little more western (like Lafayette is), then NOLA would have gotten it even worse.

I was looking at pictures of New Orleans today, and it's really crazy. You see pictures all the time of disasters in other cities and states and think, "oh, that's really sad". But when it's somewhere you love, somewhere you've been multiple times, it's kind of surreal.

Canal street looks so different when it's not full of glamour.

The Hyatt.

Another picture of the Hyatt..

A roof being blown off of a restaurant in Kenner

So. School is going well. Here is a brief summary of my classes:

ENGL 102: I'm in love with my English professor! (Okay not really at all. But she seems like a rad person.) She's working on a degree in Creative Writing, she hosts poetry slams every semester, she's having us watch American Beauty at the end of this semester, and she made reference to The Royal Tenenbaums (which only me and one other guy new about because no one else has seen it--she asked us who had watched it before). So yeah. She seems pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that she's going to have us do a lot of group work, which I despise. I work better alone! Hopefully I won't get stuck with idiots. There seem to be a bunch in there.

THEA 161: My professor in there is retarded. Tuesday he spend an hour putting us (an auditorium class of 125 students!) into alphabetical order. Today there were some students that had just gotten into the class, so he spent ANOTHER half hour re-alphabetizing us. THEN, on Tuesday we will be moving to a larger auditorium so I predict we will, once again, be seated alphabetically, ridiculously wasting even more time. We spent maybe 20 minutes today doing any work. Now, I don't mind doing very little work, but damn. 3 days just to put us into specific seats is just stupid and a wasteful use of time. At this rate we'll never get to the costume design section of the book (which is, sadly, near the end of it). We do have to go to plays and musicals and stuff though, so I think that will be fun. It's just a matter of moving past the seating chart. Ugh.

BIOL 121: Suck. The professor isn't even in the country until Monday. The substitute doesn't seem to know what the hell is going on what with the, "Well, I don't know why Suzanne put this in here...let's see. This is a cell. We'll go back to this in a second..." and he goes so fast that there is no time to write any notes. I spent the last two class periods drawing antelope and design sketches. Andre is in there with me though, which slightly alleviates the boredom.

HUMR 146: It's alright so far. We're learning about the beginning of fashion...how people used to make yarn and shit. But it should get more interesting soon.

HUMR 101: Stupidest class ever. It should be really easy, but we have stupid projects to do like finding 3 people with the same major as us an interviewing them, writing papers about why we chose the major we did, and writing a report on a club meeting that we will have to attend.

So yes. Yay school. I still have a couple of books to buy, but that will be impossible until I get money Friday.

School is going awesome. Most of my classes seem okay. Theatre might suck, though. The only reason I took it is so that I can go and take Costume Design and Stage Makeup later. I haven't gotten my Biology or FMF books yet. Tomorrow I have my intro to Apparel Design class for the first time (or whatever it's called. HUMR101.)

Tonight I was looking at some site and it reminded me of my first websites. So, I decided to do a search for myself. I found this. It's a website I made when I was 12. Ugh. I think I found that a couple of years ago and yep, it's still existant. 8000-something views, even!
Also, with another sn I used to have, I found this godawful story I wrote when I was apparently 14. I wouldn't have even thought it was mine had it not had my real name on it. I'm not even going to post the link because it's way more embarrassing than that Taz thing. I'm trying to find more...I've had at least 8 or 9 websites in the past 8 years.
Oh, found some.
Here's my expage. I was 14 or 15 for that one too. It's just an "I've moved!" page now, but imagine the whole thing looking like that, with the cats and blue bars and everything. It then leads to my geocities site, which was from when I was 15 (I learned how to do frames. yay). It has a picture on it of me when I was 13 that I haven't seen in....6 years.
I'd go back and clean all these sites out (provided I still know the passwords), but it's too much fun looking at them years later and realizing how much I sucked. :P

edited to say: The geocities site has Gir on it, and I think Invader Zim came out in 2001. I must have started to redo the whole thing when I was 16 with the intention of updating and making it current. Obviously that did not happen, as the "about me" section says I was 15. Also, check out my favorite songs. Limp Bizkit! ha. I was so awesome.

24 hours from now I will be sitting in Biology class. I am terrified of this. I just feel so unprepared! I dunno, I guess being laidback about it is better than stressing over every minor detail. I'm off Monday and Tuesday, which is really cool when it comes to school, but my manager forgot to let me be off on Sunday. Next weekend=Mechacon and I seem to be working 2 out of 3 of the days. Friday is fine because I get off at 5. Saturday I'm off, but Sunday I close or something. Ack. I need to fix that.

My parents are out of town until Tuesday or Wednesday. This means Chris has been here every day. He's starting to aggravate the shit out of me. Always poking or biting or tickling me. I just want to scream, "Stop touching me! Go home!" but I can't.

Yesterday my new car died! Apparently the wires to the alternator are a little messed up, so my car completely dieed and wouldn't start. Then when it did finally start (now with no a/c or radio) it wouldn't go past 15 without jerking and stopping a lot. Imagine me driving down the road at 15 jerking all over the place and sweating my ass off in 95 degree weather. Today Chris and Sean are going to hopefully make it work.

Now...off to work. I get off work at 9 tonight and by then I'll be stressing out hardcore about school and my car and Chris.

I totally found my new favorite eBay store. Unfortunately I don't have any money -- between Mechacon, school, and the new car I doon't have anything to spend so frugally. Anyone wanna throw $50 or so my way? :D

Here are some of my favorite things there:

† 1: These aren't something I'd normally wear, but they kick so much ass that I think I could make an exception.

† 2: I think I will really buy these because they really are cute.
holy shit..

Today I got a new car :D The very first one I had to buy myself...so really, the only one that's ever really been MINE and no one else's. It's a white 94 Ford Taurus with tinted windows (that actually look like crap becuase they're the stickery kind and are peeling off a bit), and a practically brand new cd player (the first car I've ever had with one!). It needs a bit of work--the windshield is a little cracked. It's in the middle of the driver's side, which does not actually obscure my view but needs to be fixed anyway to get it passed on inspection. It also needs an alignment and perhaps new tires. One of the front headlights is out (the guy couldn't get clips to hold the headlight covers[?] on, so the shit is duct taped! ghetto.) And that's about it :D It has no dents, just a little bit of key scratches on one side. The inside is a bit stained, but nothing some Awesome and bleach can't fix! It only cost me $800 which is awesome because the blue book value is nearly twice that, despite its few problems. The a/c works awesome. Kick ass, because a/c is one thing I find absolutely necessary in Louisiana summers.

I need to post pictures when it's light enough out to take some.

Because it has a CD player, I've been compiling mp3s to make mix CDs to listen to when I start driving it. So far I have two which are titled "Ich liebe Deutschland" (German rock because I've been listening to that kind of thing lately) and "Why the hell do I listen to this?" (dance music, specifically from DDR. I don't even play DDR, but for some reason I've taken a liking to some of the music)

So yes. Pictures tomorrow perhaps. Now it's time for bed.

So, I'm drunk. Excuse any typos or mispunctuations I may make. I went out with Sean, Chris, April, and the other Sean. We inteded to go to the Loose Caboose then Club Sin (at least April and I did. no one else wanted to go to club sin), but we ended up just staying at the caboose. I saw like a million people I know. A bunch of people from high school, most of whom were freshmen when I graduated. That makes me feel old, when freshmen are now 18+.
Anyway, yeah. Andrew doesn't look like Ken from L'arc anymore because he's really skinny. It was funny seeing him drunk because he was looking more and more Asian with the more he drank (his eyes kept getting more and more squinty!!) Quote of the day:
him: "Is my face getting red?"
me: "no, why?"
him: "because when i get drunk my face turns red. now i understand why in anime when they drunk they get all red-faced. like when they draw red lines on their cheeks? it's because they're drunk!"
haha.
Alec showed up and was being very apologetic about something silly. Apparently he met my sister a few days ago. She had told me about this and how he had invited her over to his house and stuff.

Alec: "Dude Dawn, I feel so bad."
me: "um. why?"
Alec: "because I was hitting on your sister hard the other day, and now I'm talking to someone else!"
me: "well, I'm sure April's okay..."
Alec: "I still feel bad! How did your sister get so hot anyway?"
me: "Um. I dunno. Just got the good end of the gene pool, I guess?"

But seriously, he was very apologetic about the fact that he had been hitting on my sister and now liked some other girl. April wasn't even phased--she has at least 2 guys after her already that she doesn't know what to do with. But Alec's new girl is really hot so he shouldn't be worried anyway. Alec's like, with a new girl everytime I see him.

I got a bunch of compliments on my tattoo which is weird because I've had it forever. It's funny how fast people are to show off their tattoos, "oh, I like your stars! wanna see my tattoo?!" Not that I mind, of course. I like seeing peoples' stuff. It's just weird sometimes.

Anyway, it's 3 a.m. now so I need some sleep. Tomorrow we're supposed to go see Dukes of Hazzard (because I'm apparently in it!) So I'll update and let you know what scene I'm in and stuff so you can go see me. :D

So, yesterday was my birthday :) It's weird knowing I'm 21 now. It felt like after yesterday it would all be over, like after yesterday I would be 20 again. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you want to look at it that way) I am 21+ forever now. I went to eat at Outback with Chris, which was not exciting at all. He was being a pussy because he's only 20 until next week, so he didn't want to go out and do anything fun. I ordered my first drink, though, which was a Pine-tini. It was fucking nasty.
When I was at work, Chris and his family came to bring me cake and presents :D A Hello Kitty cake! And a Hello Kitty purse and candies too. I didn't get pictures of the cake before it started being devoured, but I'll put pictures of the rest later, maybe.

I've been downloading different versions of 99 Red Balloons. That song has been haunting me for like a week. I've heard it a few times in various places, like Joey's ringtone. Last night I was watching the end of a movie (which I found out today was Eurotrip) and I heard it on there. Of course I'd heard it before, but I'd never given it much thought.
So I finally decided to download it. So far, the only version aside from the original that I like is Goldfinger's (which was the one on Eurotrip). Maybe because it has some German still in it. No...I think it just sounds better overall.

Did I ever mention I fucking love German? God I wish I could still speak it well. Next semester I plan on taking it at UL.

Neunundneunzig Kriegsminister
Streichholz und Benzinkanister
Hielten sich für schlaue Leute
Witterten schon fette Beute
Riefen: Krieg und wollten Macht
Mann, wer hätte das gedacht?
Daß es einmal so weit kommt
Wegen neunundneunzig Luftballons
Neunundneunzig Luftballons

I made a discovery...

So, today I was at Shop Rite looking for a Rockstar or Red Bull, because I woke up at 6 a.m., and found this:

I didn't know we had Jolt here. Why have I never seen it there before? At any rate, I got the cherry kind. I was expecting it to be nasty, but actually it doesn't have a whole lot of flavour (which is better than it having a horribly sour flavour like real energy drinks do).

Yay caffeine.

We went to a casting call in Baton Rouge, this one much more successful than the last. Hopefully we'll get a call saying we made it. It sound good for me, because the girl was talking about how they need students to uh...be students. Apparently some scenes take place on LSU campus. Woot.

OMG. I lost my cell phone yesterday. Last night when I went to bed I heard it vibrate, but I couldnt find it anywhere. I FOUND IT TODAY. Want to know where? In the motherfucking washing machine!!! I threw my laundry in when I got up this morning, and it must have been in my pants and fell into the basket (I had checked all of my pants last night when I couldn't find it)

I guess I'll have to get a new one Sunday :( So if you can't get ahold of me, that's why. Agh.

I <3 NOLA.

The other day I found out that there was a casting call for Vampire Bats (apparently a lame Lucy Lawless horror movie, but I thought it sounded fun) in New Orleans in the World Trade Center, Altitude 33 (which is a club on the 33rd floor of it) at 11p.m. So I tell Jeri (who tells her friend Kelley) and April, and everyone's all excited. So last night immediately after work (I got off at 7) we go. Traffic was HORRIBLE. There was a lane closed on the bridge so it took us like 45 minutes just to get over it. Nonetheless, we got to NOLA almost at exactly 11. We went upstairs to the place, and find out that the club is opened during all this so we have to pay $10 just to get in. wtf. April and I had no money--casting calls are supposed to be free. THEN we find out there's a dress code: no t-shirts or tennis shoes, which April and I both had. AND you have to be 21! None of this information was at the site. I knew it was in a club, but I assumed that it would be closed during this time. Who the fuck puts a casting call in the middle of an opened club?? Then the bouncer is a real douche bag. Obviously everyone's complaing, especially those like us who had driven for hours to get there. So he's like, "I'm tired of listening to you complain. I'm not cutting you any deals. You can all just go back downstairs!" Not that he WAS cutting us a deal to begin with.
So, these two (cute, goth) girls from Mississippi who WERE in dress code decide, "fuck this. If everyone here each gives us a dollar, we'll have enough to go in. And we'll take your pictures and information, bring it in, and tell them what's going on." So we did that. Everyone left except April, Jeri, Kelley, and I because we wanted to see what happened. The girls came back out like half an hour later or so, and say that once you got up there, you had to sign up for the casting company for 20 MORE dollars, and after this movie they supposedly call you for other ones (but you never can tell. We're with louisianacasting, and no one gets called for shit. We have to find them ourselves). What a ripoff. But they took our pictures anyway, and are just going to throw them out after this movie. Kelley says they probably put them in a separate pile and we won't get called. *sigh*
So I think, "Yay. Since we didn't get to do anything in there, maybe we can explore the city so this isn't a complete waste!" Um. No. Kelley didn't want to do anything (she was driving), despite Jeri's and my efforts.
Me: I wanna go dooo something! Let's make this trip worth it!
Kelley: ...
Jeri: Ohh! Let's go some voodoo shops!
Kelley: Oh, they're all behind us in the Quarter.
Me: Let's go! *pout*
Kelley: ...
She just ignored us and kept driving out.

At least I got to SEE New Orleans :/ And April had never been there, except for a small trip with Girl Scouts years ago. She was all excited.
We weren't even there long enough to get approached to buy crack. But we DID see a few hobos! One night I want to sleep on the streets and see what it feels like. Seriously. I've thought about that for years.

And Jeri and Kelley kept making ignorant statements. The two girls from Mississippi were dressed in all black, had piercings and tattoos, stretched ears, etc. And Jeri or Kelley (I don't remember who, because they were both saying silly things, but I believe it was Kelley.) was like, "Those girls must be dressed like that because this is a horror flick." Um, no. Piercings, tattoos, and stretched ears are permanent. I highly doubt they went and got them for the movie. Maybe they went to the casting because they like horror movies?
Then these two Asian girls were going into the club (not for the casting, just to go to the club) and they were dressed all slutty, like most of the girls going in there were, and Jeri whispered, "look, they're call girls!" and she was dead serious. She said no one dresses and walks like that except call girls. Seriously, how many times have you been to clubs?! A lot of girls dress and walk like that. Maybe it was because they were Asian :P I mean, they did get valet parking, so they have some money (there was a parking garage right next door. That's just lazy.), but that's not enough to make that kind of assumption.

Anyway, sometime in August before school starts, April and I want to go back and spend a few days there. She went with GIRL SCOUTS, so they probably did all kinds of boring stuff. This time I'll show her some of the fun things to do. Not that I know everything about New Orleans. I've only really been there once myself :) Anyone up for a trip?
